August Office Hours, Holiday Coverage and Weekday Mass Schedule

👩‍💼 Office Staffing Update

We’re currently in the process of hiring a new Office Assistant. In the interim, Dianne Taylor—a seasoned parish volunteer and our current volunteer screening coordinator—will be stepping in to help. Dianne brings valuable experience in parish office work and bookkeeping, and we’re deeply grateful for her generosity.

Please note: There may be brief periods when the office is closed in August. We’ll do our best to maintain regular hours and appreciate your understanding.

🙏 Pastoral Coverage

Fr. Ed Hampson will celebrate weekend Masses while our pastor is away on holiday. He’ll be with us on the weekends of:

  • August 9–10
  • August 16–17

We warmly welcome Fr. Hampson and thank him for his generosity in filling in for Fr. Wihelm.

đź“… Weekday Mass Schedule

Due to the holiday period and limited priest availability, weekday Masses will not be held at Holy Rosary on the following dates:

  • August 12–15
  • August 26–29

We encourage parishioners to attend weekday Mass at nearby churches:

  • St. John the Baptist (Brant Street)
  • St. Raphael’s (New Street)
  • St. Gabriel’s or St. Paul the Apostle (North Burlington)

These parishes typically have associate priests and maintain regular weekday Mass schedules. Check their websites or call the respective parish for their weekday mass times in August.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

🕊 Mass Intentions

If you’ve scheduled a Mass intention during the affected dates, you’ll have two options:

  • Have the pastor celebrate the intention while on holiday
  • Reschedule for another available date

Our office staff will be reaching out this week to coordinate with those affected.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate our way through these adjustments!
