Our parish is happy to welcome all who visit with us and share in Christ’s life – especially at Sunday Mass. We welcome the talents and abilities of our parishioners who participate in our many parish ministries, especially in the service of those who are most in need. In a particular way, we are privileged to minister in local communities, such as our parish elementary and secondary schools, our hospital, our retirement homes and long-term care centres, and in collaboration with numerous diocesan and civic social-service providers.
Please know that we are here to welcome you and serve you. You have a home here. If we can be of further assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact us. Be assured of our prayers and good wishes for you and your family.

Did you know?
Holy Rosary was the second parish established in Burlington, with boundaries including Aldershot, Maple Avenue, Waterdown, and the lake. It is the smallest parish in Burlington, with around 800+ registered households, many of whom are seniors. With the development of Aldershot, we are seeing an increase of young families joining our parish community.
Several past pastors, including founder Msgr. Bernard Harrigan, are buried near the cemetery chapel.
The parish has a Casavant pipe organ. For an extensive history of this fantastic instrument, click on the link below:
Pastoral initiatives were guided by Sister Rosanne Logel CSJ (1992-2007) and Mary Edmondstone (2007-2022).
Sunday worship began in 1947 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery chapel and moved to the newly-built school hall in 1951. The church was dedicated in 1955.
The church’s interior layout was reversed for over 30 years until a redesign under Pastor Fr. Anthony Ciavarro in the 1980s.
Holy Rosary pioneered the RENEW program in 1980 under Fr. Ciavarro, which later expanded across the Diocese and Canada.
